Step 3: Insert the “Elapsed Execution Time” assignment.

Insert the “Elapsed Execution Time” assignment in the measurement routine. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the “Insert” tab in the PC-DMIS main window.

  2. Click on the “Assignment” button.

  1. In the “Assign To” text box, type “CT” or any variable that is not in the measurement already.

  1. In the “Assign From” text box, remove the 0.

  1. Click on the “Assign From” button.

  2. In the dropdown menu, click on “Functions and Operators.”

  3. Click on the “ID:” button and select “ELAPSEDEXECUTIONTIME().”

  1. Click on the “Add ELAPSEDEXECUTIONTIME()” button and make sure you remove the “0” if there is one.

Step 4: Add the “Elapsed Run Time” to the report.

  1. Click on the “Insert” tab in the PC-DMIS main window.

  2. Click on the “Report Command” button.

  3. Click on the “Comment” Button.

  2. In the comment text box, Type “ELAPSED RUN TIME (HOURS:MINUTES:SECONDS)  :”+CT.

Step 5: Test the code.

Test the code in the report. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the “Report Window” tab in the PC-DMIS Toolbar.
